Melanie Barbato
Melanie Barbato has an academic background in the study of religion and philosophy. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford (England) and is currently finishing up her doctoral thesis at LMU Munich (Germany). She is also a stay-at-home mom. Her poetry explores ideas of motherhood, commitment and faith and tries to question common conceptions of what self-fulfilment should look like for women today.
